König von Flandern EN

CASE STUDY

König von Flandern

Task

The goal was to monetize and clear out the traditional inn with an attached home brewery.

Project scope

The approximately 1200 individual parts were combined into 413 auction lots, among other things, our customers enjoyed quaint decorations, many enamel signs and wall paneling. The entire project took 4 team work days.

Challenge

The building in Augsburg‘s city center with a steep slope meant that the restaurant areas were located in the basement and the brewery areas, including built-in beer tanks, were located in the associated basement floors.

Insights & Highlights

1

The brewhouse was purchased from a small craft beer brewery in the region and hoisted up the steep front staircase to the pub by pulley.

2

The beer tanks from the basement floors had to be hauled by hand up the narrow stairs to daylight and went to numerous small breweries nationwide.
